It was this Saturday and Sunday (11/7, 11/8)

Ok...so i got there about...meh 10:30, waited in the pre-registered line for like TWO HOURS. They couldn't allow general admission in anymore because the place was pact, so only the pre-registered could get in. I was lucky I pre-registered.
I talked a lot of people in line and made jokes and told some people about my manga to pass the time. In turn some people told me their idea's for manga. But we did shoot the shit and talk about other stuff as well. I ALSO SAW SOMEONE WHO COSPLAYED AS DIGGS! I. SHIT. YOU. NOT! I tried to find him in the con, but couldn't >.<. He was ahead of the line, and if I got out of line I would have lost my spot. Oh well. I told scoot, kit, and 2K, and I wish I coulda got a picture.
The biggest surprise for me, though, was the amount of people. Last year, there was no 2 hour line. You got in in about 5 minutes, pre-registered or not. I think the reason was because Johnny Yong Bosch and Eyeshine were there.

I went into the con with $100, and walked out with $2 XD. I bought a hallow ichigo mask [link] , a deathnote [link] ,and I also got my first 2 wall scrolls [link] [link]

I ran into a few people I am subscribed to on deviantart, and also have new deviant artists profiles X3.
I also found Kefka there: [link] . Since I always voice as Sephiroth, I think maybe next year I'll cosplay as Sephiroth just to run into him X3.

Anyway, as I have stated before Johny Yong Bosch and his band Eyeshine were there. I didn't meet them once, I met them 3 times at this con. They were all really nice people, and REALLY funny. They all kinda of took an interest in me when they signed my voice acting microphone and when they saw the picture I drew for Johnny. They didn't think my mic was real, and when they saw that it was real they asked what I did and stuff. I told them I wanted to be an anime/manga cartoonist and voice my own characters and I also did online dubs of games, flash toons, and anime's. The only thing I neglected to mention, which was pretty dumb of me and probably woulda impressed them, was that I was casted into an Xbox 360 game called Glass Empire (youtube it, it should be the first thing you find). I'm sure they were also just being nice, but who knows. Each time I spoke with them, it wasn't a quick "hi, bye" thing, but it wasn't a 2 hour conversation. It was more like 5 minutes each time. They were very polite, nice, but most of all FUNNY. The bassist, Tori (I believe that was his name. If not, sorry. I suck with names) got a kick out of my email address XD. I asked Johnny if he knew where any anime dub auditions were, he hinted about something in New York, but he didn't know and wasn't sure.
There was also a raffle for pre-registered members where two people could win a lunch with Johnny. I didn't win, but I just thought I'd mention that. Still, I would have liked to sit down and get to know the guy. He's an inspiration for me, and I look up to (not literally XD) and respect him. Whenever I hear him in anime and games it makes me wanna draw, practice my shindo munen ryu (sword style), or voice act. I really do wish I had the time to talk with him more. He was a really nice guy, and am glad I got to meet him. I kinda also wish I could have showed him some of my voice work and demo reel...but...I didn't wanna pressure him.

The band Eyeshine is really good. I think you'd consider them alternative rock, but I'm not sure. Still, they are really good and talented. They inspired me to draw and even animate! Youtube them, you won't regret it. The only person in the group that I didn't really talk to much was the drummer, mainly because he was talking to a Japanese agent or something for Reni? I can't remember, but I did speak with him for a bit after their concert. I also got a picture with Eyeshine, but the woman who took the picture said she'd email me and she hasn't yet. When she does (I hope) I'll post it.

I think seeing all the anime, artwork, Johnny and Eyeshine this weekend finally got me out of my drawing/depressed rut. I really want to draw again, and A LOT. I need to finish those Halloween pictures.

*Note: The full scale color is for pictures that require some sort of background, be it a graphic or scenery. The reason the price is at $35 is because my computer, Manga Studio, and Photoshop, for some reason, will slow down or shut down if there is too much going on. Thus it will take more time and effort to do. Once I can get a Mac, or something that will eliminate this problem, that price will vanish. Also, keep in mind, I usually just draw characters and not much else.
